Welcome to 2012! It's a new year and a new beginning for the Drew Library Lore blog. And what is "lore"? Webster's Third New International Dictionary, that huge book on the library stand, says lore is "Something that is learned... knowledge that is gained through study...knowledge or wisdom gained through experience." We hope that everyone who comes to the library learns something new each time, through stories, study, research, talking with friends, performing, creating, browsing, searching online.
Here is where you will find "What's new?": dates and times for library events, news about classes and students' learning, new books in the collection, what's the new popular series or an old favorite, calls for Book Fair volunteers, etc.
So stay tuned, come back each week to visit the blog and watch us grow. And while you are at it, come visit the library!
Here's to lots of learning and reading adventures in 2012.
