Message from Mr. Godinez

Welcome back to school! The Swanson Chorus has exciting events, concerts and performance opportunities planned for this school year involving our choirs: The combined 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Choir and the After-School Chorus (see calendar). Also, for the second year in a row, students can audition for the Arlington County Middle School Honors Chorus (see below).

The After-School Chorus will rehearse on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 to 4:15. Students interested in joining must fill out an ACT II form to register and receive credit. Rehearsals will begin on Thursday, September 22.

The Swanson chorus welcomes you back and hopes you can come and start the year off on the right note! If you have any questions about how you can get involved in chorus, please contact Mr. Godinez via email at Daril.Godinez@apsva.us .

Middle School Honors Chorus

Auditions for the Arlington County Honors Chorus will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Kenmore Middle School, with weekly rehearsals starting mid-January. All students in 6th-8th grades are eligible to audition for this special opportunity. The Honors Chorus is scheduled to perform March 12, 2013 in a joint concert with the Junior Honors Band, Orchestra and Chorus.
