The Professional Development School (PDS) program is a teacher-education partnership between Arlington Public Schools and Marymount University. The PDS program pairs graduate education interns with highly experienced mentor teachers trained by Marymount in the art of mentoring.

Interns work from Monday through Thursday side-by-side with our mentor teachers. They attend classes in the evening and have Friday as their work day.

In addition, Arlington Public Schools provides a part-time coordinator for the PDS interns. Vicki Taylor works to facilitate the PDS program with Marymount University.
