The goal of the LibraryMediaCenter is to help students become effective, independent users of information, including the appropriate use of technology.
Students may visit individually, in small groups or as a total class accompanied by the classroom teacher. Cooperative planning with teachers is encouraged for the purpose of discussing resource-based teaching units and research projects to identify appropriate information skills for the completion of the assignment. Teachers, parents, and the library staff work together as a team to help students develop valuable lifetime skills through the LibraryMediaCenter.
