Important Info for 3rd Grade Parents

School Start Time: The official start time of school is 8:00. Children who arrive in the classroom after 8:00 must go tothe office to get a tardy slip.

Breakfast: Breakfast will be served from 7:40-8:00.  Those children who eat breakfast at school must finish their breakfast by 8:00. If your child is eating breakfast at school they need to be here at 7:40. Instructional time begins at 8:05.

Homework: There will be math and word study homework every night and is due the next day. All children are expected to read for 25 minutes every night and fill in their reading logs. The reading logs are due on Friday.

Change of Routine: In order to ensure your child’s safety, all children need to bring in a note (in Spanish or English) if their afternoon routine will change (riding a different bus, waiting for pick-up, going home with a friend, etc.) If your child does not have a note from home they will be sent home in the usual way.
