We have a student:computer ratio of approximately 2.5. With room, curriculum and staff changes, how can we allocate computers to provide access to the most students while providing for curriculum and special needs? During the 2010-11 School Year student computers were distributed as follows:
General circulation: 52 desktops, 38 laptops, 4 iMacs
- Sky High Lab - 26 desktops, 1 laptop
- Middle Earth Lab - 26 desktops, 1 laptop, 4 iMacs
- Cart One - 12 (This was usually in Trailer 2 and first floor)
- Cart Two - 12 (This was usually in the library)
- Library laptop check-out - 12
Classroom labs: 30 desktops, 20 laptops, 29 iMacs
- Library classroom - 23 total - 3 desktops + 20 laptops (one used by Carol, frequently supplemented with cart two)
- Business lab - 27 desktops
- Photo Lab - 21 iMacs
- Music lab - 8 iMacs (used by music and film students)
- 206 - HILT lab - 10 desktops
Special Ed classrooms - 3 desktops, 14 laptops
- 104 - Leigh - 3 laptops
- 203 - Julie - 2 laptops, 1 desktop
- 316 - Francisca - 2 laptops, 1 desktop
- 317 - Thomas - 3 laptops
- 324 - Betsy/Patti - 4 laptops, 1 desktop
Science classrooms - 36 laptops
- 318 stored 18 in closet (Meghan, Dave, Mark)
- 201/202 shared 12 laptops, Bill has an iMac
- 109 - Kathy had 6 (Robotics & Starry Nights software)
Foreign language - 24 laptops - 12 per cart
- Foreign Language One (12) - room 301
- Foreign Language Cart Two (12) - room 319
