School - Home Communication

Gunston Middle School uses the Take Home Tuesday envelope to facilitate home/school communication.

The envelope is three hole-punched to fit in each student's binder. Every Tuesday the school sends something home with your child in this specially marked brown envelope. At the minimum, a one-sheet flyer with some school wide information from the principal - Ms. Gill, the department of counseling services, the librarian or another department - will be included in the envelope.

In addition, teachers will be using the Take Home Tuesday envelope to send general and student specific information home. You may be asked to sign a test, check homework, or you may receive a note specifically for your child. We consider Take Home Tuesday to be an important part of our home/school communication procedure. PLEASE encourage your child to bring it home every Tuesday.
