On Tuesday, January 8, under the direction of instrumental music teacher, Mary Lopez, members of the Randolph band and orchestra performed at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Center. Fifth grade students shared a selection of songs from their holiday concert to the delight and awe of the senior citizens in the audience. Special guest, fourth grader, Edward Wu, received a standing ovation for his spirited violin solo. After the performance, students mingled with the residents who were thrilled to have the chance to spend time meeting and talking to such friendly and polite children.
