Dr. McCormac is a full-time professional school counselor who has worked in Arlington County for the past 25 years. Dr. McCormac has a Ph.D. from St. Louis University in Education (Counseling), she is licensed by the State of Virginia, and she is a National Board Certified Counselor and a National Board Certified Teacher (School Counseling). She came to Nottingham at the start of the 2007-2008 school year. Dr. McCormac has served on the boards of several counseling associations. She has presented at many conferences for counselors and is a published author. She was named the 2015 Elementary Counselor of the Year by the Virginia School Counselors Association. She lives in Falls Church with her husband and two children. Dr. McCormac works with grades K-5. Dr. McCormac's normal working hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.
