DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK

Assist Program Supervisor in:

• Planning, preparing and implementing a program of age appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, clubs, etc.
• Supervising groups of up to 20 children during program hours, in a variety of settings, such as playgrounds, multipurpose rooms, gymnasiums and classrooms.

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalency

Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions

Ability to plan and implement age appropriate activities and to supervise the activities in a variety of settings

• All letters of recommendation must include telephone numbers for the person writing the letter.
• At least two recommendations must be work related from your supervisors, only one letter may be a personal recommendation.
• The letters must reflect recent job experience. If you are applying for an Extended Day aide position, at least two recommendations must be from school age childcare experience or from a related experience.

Candidates will be selected based on screening of a completed application. Interviews for candidates will be scheduled on a regular basis.
