Mr. McGuire has been teaching in Arlington for the last 15 years. He has taught 2nd grade, 5th grade and also one year at 6th grade. Before becoming a teacher Mr. McGuire spent two years in Belize, Central America as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Mr. McGuire received his BA in History from SUNY Cortland, and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Temple University. His wife is also a teacher in Arlington and they have two boys who attend Wakefield High School and HB Woodlawn. During his free time he loves to play, watch, coach and talk about baseball.
Ms. Robertson comes to Patrick Henry from her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama where she taught 2nd grade. She graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in both Journalism and Speech Communication before pursuing a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Outside of the classroom, Miss Robertson loves cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football and basketball teams, baking, reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling whenever possible. She is thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Patrick Henry and looks forward to a wonderful year!
