Mr. Waddell has been teaching for 15 years, 8 years in Arlington County Public Schools. He has been a teacher mentor, the special education lead teacher for three years, and a previous treasurer for the Arlington Education Association for two years. Before coming to Arlington, Mr. Waddell was a one-on-one ABA therapist for 7 years.
Shawn has a B.S. in Psychology from Misericordia University, a Master of Special Education with endorsements in emotional disabilities, learning disabilities and intellectual delays from George Mason University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Students with Autism from George Mason University.
